Visual Prolog - SourceGear Vault Integration

What is Vault?

SourceGear Vault is a version control tool for  small and medium-sized development teams.

Vault was designed to ensure the reliability of data. All repository data are stored in a SQL Server database.

Vault allows working over the Internet. All communication between a client and a server is done over HTTP.

Usage of SourceGear Vault in Prolog Development Center

Prolog Development Center have been using Vault for several years.

A single shared SourceGear Vault database is used by the PDC to manage daily work of 75 developers both in Denmark and Russia.

Visual Prolog -  Vault Integration

The Visual Prolog IDE has integration to Vault:

• Direct “check out” is available from the Visual Prolog IDE;
• Multiple source control repositories can be easily managed;
• Convenient visual representation of project items being under source control (read-only files) is available.
