Visual Prolog 7.0 Build 7003

Visual Prolog 7.0 Build 7003 is a minor release that improves Visual Prolog 7.0 stability and includes some improvements.
The Build incorporates all changes included into the Builds 7001, 7002.

Release Description

Compiler

• The following groups of Compiler bugs have been fixed:

1. Some code generation bugs that caused erroneous behavior on execution:

• In some cases, when the Compiler generated wrong codes for the predicate which had several clauses and one of them ended with the cut (or for the 1^st argument in OR statement if it terminated with cut);
• In the case of tail call optimized calls of nondeterm predicates or facts with output parameters;
• In some cases of virtual calls of an object predicate.

2. Some bugs that caused unexpected mode errors;
3. A priority bug for ^ operator;

• The Compiler now better detects predicate declaration conflicts.

  Linker

Visual Prolog 7.0 Linker has been improved. Some bugs have been fixed.

Library

The following bugs concerned with:

• incorrect link names in the PFC isApi5x class;
• chaindb problem;
• grid control problem (Commercial Edition).

have been fixed.

Examples

The problem that caused HTTP Error 500 while running the ISAPI Example included into the Commercial Edition of Visual Prolog 7.0 has been fixed.

Help Generation Tool (PRODOC)

Visual Prolog Help Generation Tool (PRODOC) included into the build 7003 of the Commercial Edition:

1. Supports Unicode;
2. Supports  new Visual Prolog 7.0 syntax features.

Note that PRODOC requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to be installed at your computer.
