How to Create a Message Directly from Visual Prolog VDE?

Visual Prolog suggests users a very convenient way to contact with  the PDC Visual Prolog Technical Support service while you are working in the Visual Development Environment (VDE).
This is the most recommended way for reporting problems of using Visual Prolog.

  1. Open  the project concerning the problem.

  2. Choose the Help | Send Bug Report to VipSupport command.

  3. Press the Copy & Send Mail button
    The feature will automatically:

  • create a letter;
  • insert the Visual Prolog technical support address;
  • gather information that can be required for correct understanding of your problem e.g. Visual Prolog version, platform, project settings, etc.
  1. Please, give a short informative description of the problem in the Subject field.
    Please, do not use general subjects, such as: "Visual Prolog problem", "Help", etc.
  2. Paste the information from the Clipboard into the Message and give a detailed description of the problem in the Message field.

    Please, describe one problem in a message.

    A complete and accurate symptom description will ensure the quickest and most accurate solution.

    While describing your problem, try to answer the following questions:

  • Describe error messages.
  • Is the symptom intermittent, or reproducible?
    If the problem is reproducible, please describe the procedure you use to reproduce the symptom.
  • When did it start happening?
  • What else happened around that time?
  • Any installations or configuration changes done around that time?
  • Describe other possibly related symptoms or oddities have you noticed.

Examples of the code illustrating problems are required.
